Abstract

The purpose of this study is twofold: first, it investigates the impact of climate change awareness on environmental protection behaviour and quality. Second, it investigates the role of environmental protection behaviour as a mediating factor in the relationship between climate change-related behaviour and environmental quality. Stratified random sampling was used to acquire data from 200 students in Vietnamese institutions via questionnaires. To estimate the outcomes empirically, this work uses at least partial quadratic structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Climate change knowledge has a favourable and considerable impact on climate-friendly behaviour and environmental quality, according to this study. The indirect findings show that pro-environmental activity is a key mediator between perceptions of climate change and environmental quality. The findings of this research demonstrate the need of increasing student understanding of climate-related concerns and climate change in order to protect the environment.
